We had a wonderful stay! We were a family of 7, and the home was spacious enough for all of us to feel comfortable. Everything was very clean when we arrived, and the neighborhood was quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. One of our favorite parts was that the beach was only about a 5-minute drive away, which made it so convenient to enjoy the area. John and Maura were friendly, responsive, and made the whole experience easy. We would definitely stay here again if we’re ever back in Pompano Beach. Highly recommend!

We are situated in the Old Pompano neighborhood which is primarily residential, offering a quieter atmosphere than some of the more commercial areas of Pompano Beach. There are several local shops, restaurants, and parks within walking distance or a short drive and the coastline is just minutes away.

Getting around

The house is located in a walkable community close to the beach and many shops and restaurants. Bringing a car would be the most convenient option but rideshare services like Lyft and Uber are also available.

Prior to arrival, guests will be given a unique access code for a safe and seamless check-in experience.

Pest disclosure
We pride ourselves on a spotless home. Every stay starts with a full professional clean, and the property gets regular pest control. But this is South Florida, and the locals like to drop by. You may spot a little lizard sunning on the patio, a few ants after a rainstorm, or the occasional palmetto bug. They live outdoors here year round and can wander into even the cleanest homes. It is not a sign of an unclean stay, just a small part of Florida living.

John and Maura were so nice, proactive, and super responsive! The house has a ton of room and lovely kitchen. The back yard is huge which was a wonderful plus that my two dogs loved!! Great location that’s just a few minutes from everything you need!

This place has plenty of space and a large, fenced in, shaded back yard for your fur babies to run in. Shower is good, beds are good, has a washer and dryer and an ice maker. I’m always having to buy bags of ice when at other Airbnb’s. Neighborhood was quiet and plenty of restaurants in the area.

This place was perfect for the week that my wife and golden retriever stayed. very clean kitchen, easy to use tv, nice backyard. neighbors and neighborhood were very quiet. nice beds, we felt at home and communicating with our hosts, co-host was very easy. I'd recommend this place for a short stay , plenty of room, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and a 4th room that could be used for a bedroom if needed. Great area, lots to do, and within walking distance of many restaurants, parks etc.

The place was very clean when we arrived. John and Maura were easy to communicate with and very responsive via the app as needed. The house is just a few blocks off federal, so very walkable to several good restaurants and coffee shops. Getting to the beach was also very convenient. Would stay again if we weren’t buying our own condo in the area to stay in :)

My wife, 2 year old, in-laws, two dogs and I stayed at John and Maura’s place while we waited for our belongings to arrive during a move to Miami. John and Maura were very responsive and accommodating, and the space was perfect for our large group. The backyard is awesome, there is a very nice park within walking distance, and beaches a just a short drive away.

I chose Pompano Bungalow for a birthday getaway looking for peace and quiet and that's exactly what I found! A clean, serene, cozy place with gorgeous flora in the backyard and neighborhood. Ampitheater, park with fitness stations, tennis and pickleball courts and a swim club within 3-5 minute walk. Quiet and safe surroundings with beautiful beach area with a fishing pier, walking area and friendly people only about a 5 min drive. Our hosts, John & Maura were exceptionally attentive and welcoming via air bnb texts. Will definitely, God willing, be going back with more family and friends!!
